To achieve high performance, Brendon Burchard, developed the 6 Pillars of High Performance. As a Certified High Performance Coach who studied under Brendon, I've not only studied these principles, I've made them a part of my everyday being. These pillars consist of Physiology, Psychology, Productivity, Persuasion, Presence, and Purpose. Implementing these six pillars into your everyday life can help you achieve your full potential and live a more fulfilling life. Below, we'll take a closer look at each of these pillars and how to implement them in your daily routine. The goal isn’t simply to choose one to focus on but to integrate all of these into daily habits that will change your life. Your Physiology This is all about your physical health – your body is indeed a temple. Suppose you are not fueling your body correctly, giving it exercise and movement. In that case, it needs, and allowing deep rest each day to recover and recoup – you will not achieve the level of high performance you desire because you simply will not have the energy and clarity of mind to do so. Your Psychology Your brain doesn’t know you are a dirty little liar – as my mentor PK Smith tells me often. Our brain absorbs what you tell it, it absorbs the surroundings you put it in. If you fill your brain with negative thoughts and limiting beliefs – your brain will make the assumption that this is your reality. You must learn to focus on what you want, versus what you do not have – MINDSET is a critical component of being a high performer and living a life of fulfillment and abundance. Your Productivity Being productive is more than being a time-blocking ninja – although that is an amazing tool use! It’s more about prioritizing what’s important in your life – having non-negotiables that will set you up for success. Your Persuasion Persuasion is a necessary skill set to master if you want to achieve high performance. The ability to influence others - to lead others - to inspire others will elevate your existence. This isn't limited to the workplace - nor is it about power. Mastering the art of persuasion will allow to engage with others in a way that not only serves you, but serves others. Your Presence Living in the moment - being acutely aware of who you are, how you show up, and who you surround yourself with is critical for high performance. You don't live in the past, you don't worry about the what-ifs of the future - instead, you are 100% fully present in the moment. Your relationships will change for the better, how you perceive your life will be better and most importantly - you'll be happier. Your Purpose When you live to your purpose - you are doing what you love and love what you do, you live a life of authenticity, you remove the need to impress others and you surely don't fear the judgment of others. It all comes down to your deep WHY. Go back and read Start with Why by Simon Sinek - find your Why, find your purpose. Implementing the 6 Pillars of High Performance into your everyday life can help you achieve your full potential and live a more fulfilling life. By focusing on your Physiology, Psychology, Productivity, Persuasion, Presence, and Purpose, you can develop the habits and skills needed to succeed in all areas of your life.
